COur Macon National Day of Prayer Committee's dedicated volunteers will be working diligently to have our next Area Observance again be a very memorable day of unity in our community and bring much honor and glory to God!  It was in 1988 Congress unanimously passed the National Day of Prayer would be the first Thursday of May.  The Event Flier here on our local website is updated as soon as the details are finalized for for the next Macon NDP Observance public one Midday Event Noon-12:30 p.m. in Rosa Parks Square!  We try for participation in a "Save the Date" Campaign to simply ask you print off and display (or promote any way) "Save the Date for Nat'l. Day of Prayer the first Thursday of May"?  We ask you print off from our local website our Event Fliers with complete details to post/hand out at your business, post about NDP on your social media, and check out our local website's Sign Campaign Page for that possible participation?  Our Parking Participation has really grown with more options.  We promote carpooling to Rosa Parks Square to let off passengers and drivers using a parking option.  Then some drivers close enough may want to walk back to Rosa Parks, or ride a partnering church van to shuttle from these parking lots back to Rosa Parks.  When the Midday Event is over, shuttles take drivers back to parking.   

Macon's NDP is valued for its bringing our citizens together in love and harmony!  In addition to the annual first Thursday of May NDP, a 2nd Wed. Monthly prayer opportunity is at Macon-Bibb Government Center (formerly called Macon City Hall) in Room 205, Noon to 1 p.m.  There we include praying by name for local, state, and national elected and appointed government officials, using Prayer Guides we encourage be duplicated and shared.  We are offered 2nd Wednesday parking by nearby St. Joseph's Church in their corner lot to the left of their sanctuary front.  To be added to our 2nd Wed. email reminders (all sent BCC), email us your email address? 

We even have a way to join 2nd Wed. Prayer by phone!  It is Free Conference Call 978 990-5000 and enter at the prompt 691214#.  

We rely on God's answering our prayers for every detail of all it takes to have Macon's NDP, including meeting the expenses.  We carefully spend the funds which God brings our way over and over.  We can send by return mail a receipt for any tax deductible contribution made to “Macon National Day of Prayer" and mailed to Macon NDP C/O Bruce Leicht 4219 Forsyth Road Macon, GA 31210.

Please join us in person for our one public Midday Event in Rosa Parks Square Noon-12:30 on National Day of Prayer!  We hope businesses can support lunch hour participation and be creative in how as many as possible could attend our Macon NDP Observance!  A monthly prayer time corporate opportunity was on the hearts and minds of the founders of our Macon NDP Observance in 1979.  We hear that monthly prayer all these years uninterrupted has helped in different ways!  It is powerful to do such as keep our 2nd Wed. Prayer Guides, sized to fit in Bibles, right there in our Bibles for praying more!  And praying for "The Seven Centers of Influence in America" (Government, Military, Media Arts, Business, Education, Church, and Family) are powerful!
